think ourselves young ,our minds could cause changes in our bodies. It can alter your mind-set and
change your body. In our culture, aging (especially for women)equates with minuses, not pluses and
the negative stereotypes associated with growing older weigh heavily on us all.
Think young and acquire the abundance of energy-physical, intellectual, and creative-that accompanies youth: a strong heart and clear arteries, aerobic fitness and muscle strength, easy movement and good posture. Enjoy the counter-clockwise journey as a success in midlife and for decades beyond.
Seek out new experiences, make plans, embrace change, and stay flexible and resilient......

 If you have a passion for gardening, that's the best way to get stretched and relaxed. No worries if you don't have field..
You can do your horticulture therapy on your concrete floor....
Can enjoy fresh air, speak to your
plants, nourish them, take care them, have some fresh vegetables, fresh flowers and quality fruits....
The microbes in the soil may lift your mood .....All the day through out the year if you can spent half an hour in your garden,is equivalent to meditation....so go out to grow something of your own...

Smiling relaxes you and eases stress....
Those who smile throughout the day by thinking positive thoughts are more serene overall.
Smiling does wonders lowering your body's stress response and others who come across you...

Be active in your midlife to remain lively in your golden years.
Learning new things makes you happy and keeps your mind active.
Do something interesting every day; otherwise you disintegrate.
Remain curious about life, if something new happens, get involved.

In this picture are Mrs and Mr Raghavan Nair from Pimpri, Pune. They are our
son n law's grandparents. They are wonderful, whom we adore for their kindness, love,
and empathy. Grandpa turned 96 this July. A lot to learn from them. No doubt "OLD is GOLD"!!!

Prepare plans on a regular basis for yourselves to stretch out and relax.
We used to prepare plans for ourselves to get rid of the routine, to activate us, to energize us with
new trips, experiences, photographs, friends, food and culture.
To us it values a lot .....makes more active, energetic, creative and to plan for next.....keeping intact all the routine activities.....
