Healthy Friendships

People who have larger network of friends have greater life expectancies and fewer incidences of regrets. Healthy friendships involves give and take and results in a team spirit. A bunch of friends is always essential to enrich your life and improve your health.
I treasure friendship. It's my passion to befriend beautiful people where ever I am. It is not that easy to find good friends every where. The effort you take to build healthy friendship will not be in vain, that helps you feel comfortable and happy in the new community.

A friend in need is a friend in deed.
The quote of Hubert H. Humphrey, reminds me the essence of friendship." The greatest healing therapy is friendship and love." That's true in my life.

Music for health and happiness

A musical night
A senior couple involved in singing a duet in a music group of friends.
Utilise the singing opportunity in front of you. Engaging in musical activities makes the person
lively and energetic. Music helps to lower blood pressure, decrease stress levels by shifting your mood, enhance the state of consciousness and develops the brain.
Singing favourite songs with family and friends, helps one to bond with others.
It is a simple and easy way of uniting groups of and engaging in an activity that everyone can participate and enjoy.
Casual musical programmes are the best approach to practice in senior centres to make each one active and alert.

Enjoy freedom

Grandparents on visit to United States in Halloween costume

Last Thursday of November is Halloween in USA. The whole month of November, is in a Halloween mood, especially the last fortnight.
Where we go, we treat as home away home. So we love the culture and cuisine of the place we are.
Hence we are waiting for the festivals also to enjoy with our children and grandchildren.

Only those who are enjoying freedom can involve and enjoy. We were happy to befriend a couple,
who got the similar flair. The peer support is great to build up self esteem and self confidence.
Freedom helps us to be in a free flow state of creative ideas and to utilise the opportunities in front
of us. Freedoms enables one, the pure will, to work without fear and expecting any rewards and enjoy
life living in the moment without self interests.
Enjoy freedom and feel free as a bird in flight. Stay healthy in peace and happiness.
