If possible exercise outside.....Join the new "green exercise movement."
Move your workout outside and you will soak up the beauty and the benefits of being in nature.
As little as five minutes of walking in a natural setting can increase your self-esteem, boost your
mood, and slash high blood pressure. People who are active outdoors exercise longer than those who workout inside only.
So why doubt.....Lace up your shoes and head for the park or hit the trail.

 Confidence is built from inside out....Actually both inside and outside matter, and how the two reflect each other is what really counts. I f you don't care of yourself or you let your health, passions and grooming go, "what's inside count's" is not going to work that well!
Women who feel good about themselves still work out for themselves and for their peers...
She's thinking that she feels pretty good for her age, and if that's what 60 looks like, great....
Women who feel great about themselves as they age have found a good balance between looking after themselves and letting other things they feel passionate about matter even more-children, grandchildren, art, sports, an interest in travel. These things play a very important role in ageless beauty....
So start working on it my dear friends....

down to having a more relaxed heart beat....Plan dine out....rides and trips....meditation...volunteering....
To me and my husband we love backwater rides...which refresh us always.......

Purpose of life....keeps you healthy and happy.....

Your purpose in life is to find your purpose....then give your whole heart and soul to it....
To me my life is my message to the world....
After my retirement I work for the needy....if we can make others happy with our words, deed
and thoughts, it's great....go ahead....you can harvest health, prosperity and happiness .....
then spread it in the universe....

 


Delight in movement......keeps away stress....


 Always keep moving, whether dancing, walking, jogging, trekking, aerobics, yoga or in any form....
Movement and exercise is the powerful way to tap to into brain's pleasure circuit. Physical activity
prompts the release not just of dopamine and endorphins but also of norepinephrine and serotonin, two neurotransmitters targeted by antidepressants ,according to John Ratey, MD. It also increases levels of endocannabinoids and brain- derived neurotrophic factor.
You need to do something you love. Otherwise, it creates more stress.
To me exercise isn't something I have to do; it's something I want to do because it feels good.
The pleasure from yoga is that, it feels delicious to move slowly and smoothly, with strength
and sensuality. It helps me realize my curves are beautiful and perfect because they are me.
Keep moving to lubricate and massage the whole body and mind.

On a seniors week at Perth me and my friends hang out at Burswood. On that bright day, there
were a lots of people our age in the ground involved in different activities.
It's the happy side of my friends Peter Pan attitude: "What, me grow old? No way."
We were/are breaking the rules and having fun doing it. Along the way. we are learning to
love our age, whatever it may be.
 Don't spend time worrying about frown lines and sagging skin...while our outsides are aging,
we feel beautiful in a way many of us never have before. The packaging may be getting a little
tattered, but we have never felt more confident, more sure of who we are. So we patch ourselves up to which degree satisfies us and move with our lives.
At midlife we specialize in over coming the knocks that hit us and we manage them not letting us
knock down. We have the big picture, and we get the long haul.
It helps to do things that make you feel ageless....
As we get older, jumping out of our comfort zones adds exhilaration and fun-and reminds us that
we need never stop growing.

SO  THE   HAPPIEST  TIME  OF YOUR  LIFE  IS  STILL  AHEAD.....10 , 20, 30, even 40 years
down the road.......

"I am eighty plus....I walk a bit slower...do everything slower....but in so doing it becomes an
accomplishment.. I enjoy nature, life, food, TV shows, reading, walking, self care like that the
is too long...A walk on the beach without a cane is the flavour of freedom; the flight of a bird
takes on a special meaning...The happiness of hearing from a grandchild...the knowledge that
your teachings have not fallen on deaf ears...the ability to still care for oneself and still do for
others. I am loved and blessed!!!"
    Let's hope we are all able to say this at eighty.......let's work out for it.....

Fitness fix for seniors....stay balanced....

Risks of falls rises sharply beyond sixties. Connective tissues becomes stiffer and less elastic
with age. Don't allow loneliness to attack you.
1.Ask a friend to join you for a walk or in a fall-prevention class at your local hospital.
2.Continue exercises like breathing, strength training and cardio workouts.
3.Sign up for volunteer work.
4. Limit fat intake to 25 to 35% of total calories each day.
5.Get your bone density checked at 65.Keep up other screenings.
6.Embrace yourself just as you are.
7.Enjoy every moment ....with fun, adventure, accomplishments, friends of all ages, with a
 new road to take every day.

This is as a part of fitness fix in my words.
Due to retirement you may feel more socially isolated. Too much alone time boosts odds
of depression, and raises risk of an early ill health and even early death.
Sign up for volunteer work- it can boost your mood and social life and add physical activity.
New friends from volunteering can be an asset, to share, enjoy and enter to new ventures.

made me feel heavenly, explore to new culture , cuisine, exercises, sharing experiences
which ,altogether tone my body and mind.
It will improve our physical and mental health.
Can enjoy fun, music, dance, yoga, and keep us fit ......
Keep your friends intact and share in joys and sorrows. Let the place be where there's joy,
and the joy will burn out the pain.

A commitment to practicing yoga can help you develop confidence and make you immune.
A conscious and consistent yoga practice is as much internal as it is external. Creating a
balanced and healthy body allows your mind and heart to open more readily to the joyful
possibilities of life. Yoga is a vehicle for experiencing deeper and deeper level of self awareness.

Exercise increases blood flow through out your body, opens chest and allows breath to flow
more freely.  Stretching exercises restore flexibility of  body that strengthens core muscles
helping to stabilize the body.
So why to hesitate, if you know yoga, make it half an hour daily, or a new comer just step
to a yoga guru and start yoga.....Quick my friends.....

Soothe your stomach with fresh mint......

You can easily grow mint and keep a pot of mint always near.
Early morning you can chew few fresh leaves or have a mint tea.
Those who prefer boiled water to drink can boil the water, take it out add little fresh mint.
After a party or heavy meal, go for mint water or mint tea.
The menthol in pepper mint and pepper mint tea acts as a carminative.
( a compound relieves gas and bloating )and muscle relaxer, which can
help relieve the cramping and spasms associated with occasional intestinal
distress.

WOW.....it's superb.....be creative...applause yourself...then get it from your friends and dears.

While most of us gave up passions by midlife, any creative endeavour- whether painting, photography,
cooking, crafts, gardening, writing, jewellery making- is about as close to childhood play as many
of us get. The creativity is in addition to the well-being comes from the sense of flow of their craft.
Those involved get inspired, enthusiastic from the colours, designs, and appreciation from all
women folks irrespective of age.
This makes you energetic, feels young, goal oriented and more over makes you healthy.

"Anti " properties of Garlic....

It's wonderful.....
Garlic is an antioxidant, antibacterial, antiviral, anti clotting and anticancer.
The wonder ingredient is Allicin...One milligram of allicin equals about 15 IU
of penicillin.
But getting of garlic's benefits depends on how is it prepared and cooked.
After chop, crush, or slice garlic, wait 10 minutes to cook it. This time allows the
allicin to develop and become medicinally active.
Heating garlic immediately after crushing destroys the heat sensitive enzyme that
triggers reaction to produce allicin.

something magical.
Our cares lighten; our perspective lengthens.
Helps us  recover from stress.
In our case we are always happy when we are at beach.

Sip smarter....burn calories...

Green tea two cups daily can create wonders in losing weight. It's full of powerful antioxidants.
It is minimally processed tea that contains high concentrations of a plant antioxidant called
epigallcatechin gallae or EGCG, which help in weight loss.
EGCG blocks the body's ability to digest fat. The caffeine in green tea may help you trim down.
My personal experience...I lost 5lb. in a month....

Women are always referred to flowers...soft, gentle, fragrant, flexible, sensitive, passive like that...

That will make a woman assertive, positive, powerful and strong.
I would like to share the qualities of tortoise to keep women strong, if you bend your head, you
can't move, if you put your head straight, you can be strong...
Don't be shy, put your head outside then only you can move.
Create an aura of positive thinking which helps you to get rid off evil forces just like the thick
shell of tortoise....I practised this technique in my early thirties to be more positive....It succeeded....

Age in so many ways is a great barometer of how much we love ourselves, the people we
are turning out to be. In our early years we spent so much time in house hold activities and office work
 trying to achieve goals we have set for ourselves. Now we seems to
arrive at a point where the compass turns us inward. The external
 goals are still there, but the rewards multiply
inside, and we radiate confidence :  I am OK; in fact, I am  pretty darn special. I know what makes
me happy and love what makes me uniquely me.
