Nostril breathing enhances overall health and well being. Balances the feminine and masculine aspects in our body. Purifies the nasal tract. Boosts your energy. It is easy to practice.
Alternate nostril breathing
Sit tall and comfortably in a sturdy chair. Place your hands on the knees. Take a few normal breaths.
Lift your right hand up, point your index finger and thumb, fold the rest of the fingers. Close your right nostril with the thumb. Inhale slowly through your left nostril for a count of five, close the left nostril with your index finger and exhale slowly for a count of five. Repeat the breathing 5-7 times. Use your alternate hands in the breathing to balance both your sides. Experience the relief in your body and mind.

Lowers stress, improves cardiovascular and lungs function. Relieves blockage in the nostrils.
Single nostril breathing
Sit tall and comfortable. Place your hands on the knees. Lift your right hand up and point the index finger. Fold back the rest of the fingers. Close your right nostril, inhale slowly for a count of five, and exhale slowly for a count of five.
Repeat on the left nostril with the left hand index finger.
