Vyan Mudra

Vyan Mudra is done by touching the tips of the index finger, middle finger and the thumb.
The air, fire and space elements in the body are being balanced and regulated by performing
Vyan Mudra. This mudra is associated with the current of air in the veins. When this air current
moves fast in the lungs, arteries and veins, cause high blood pressure. By practicing Vyan Mudra
regularly, regulates the speed of circulation.

Prana Mudra

Prana  Mudra is done by joining the tips of the little and ring fingers with the tip of the thumb.
Keep both the middle and index fingers pointing straight. Visualize and feel the life force vibrates
in your body. Practice Prana Mudra for fifteen to thirty minutes.

Apan Mudra

Apan Mudra is relatively a simple mudra. It can be easily performed in any posture.
Apan Mudra is done by joining the tips of the middle and ring fingers to the tip of the thumb.
Keep the index finger and little finger pointing straight. Do it at least for ten minutes at a time.
Apan mudra is known as the purification mudra. It increases the elements of earth and space
within the body.

Apan Vayu Mudra

Apan Vayu Mudra is done by touching the tips of the middle and ring fingers to the tip of the thumb.
The tip of the index finger to touch onto the mount of the thumb. The little finger to keep straight.
 Apan Vayu Mudra suppresses the air element in the body and regulates and balances the fire,
 earth and space elements in the body.This mudra is supposed to be very beneficial for the heart.
 People with a history of cardiac ailments should practice this mudra on a regular basis.
Do at least fifteen minutes at a time to enjoy the benefits.

Agni Mudra

Place the tip of the ring finger on the base of the thumb and cover the ring finger with the thumb
by applying a gentle pressure of the thumb on the ring finger. Keep all the other three fingers
comfortably as straight as possible. Care should be taken to do all the mudras in both hands at a time. This amounts to suppress the amount of element earth by the element fire. At a time perform
Agni Mudra at least ten minutes. Since earth element is associated with the body, this mudra
is specifically associated with the shape of the body.

Shoonya Mudra is practised by placing the tip of the middle finger on the base of the thumb
and covering middle finger by the thumb by bringing a little pressure.
Keep all the other fingers straight. The principle is to suppress the element
 of space in the body by the element of fire. The element space is associated
with ears and is also a component of bodily humor Vaata. Hence this mudra can be
practised for the betterment of deaf and mentally challenged persons.

This mudra is specially suited for people having a pronounced Vaata dosha.


Vayu Mudra

Vayu Mudra is practised by joining the tip of the index finger onto the mound of the thumb.
Cover the index finger with the thumb. The other three fingers are held straight.
Vayu Mudra can be done in vajrasana posture, even after a heavy meal or at anytime feeling
uneasy or discomfort.
Vayu Mudra regulates and balances the element of air inside the body. Thus Vayu Mudra
prevents all diseases that occurs due to imbalance of air in the body.
