Tongue exercise is very important in Face yoga. Tongue is directly connected to the brain. The exercises help shaping the brain. Tongue is an organ, it is also a muscle. Tongue is so unique.
1. Stick out the tongue as far as you can. Continue for 10 seconds. Feel the stretch.
2. Rotations
Rotate the tongue clockwise, anticlockwise and clockwise. You can do the rotations with open mouth or with pursed mouth.
3. Sideways stretch
Open mouth, bring the tongue to right, hold for 5 seconds, then to the left.
Stretch out the tongue downward , hold for 5 seconds, then bring up as if trying to touch the tip of the nose with the tongue.
4. Curling the tongue
Curl the tip of the tongue to the rooftop of the mouth and count for 10. Slowly increase the time.
The exercises enhances the memory power.
Helps to focus.
