Chair yoga for seniors, Half wheel Pose





Sit tall on a sturdy chair. Take a few normal breaths and relax. Place your foot wide apart. Hold your right hand on the chair in front of you. Inhale and raise your left hand above through the side. Hold for 5 seconds. Exhale bend towards the right with your left hand over the head. Look down on the ground underneath your fingertips. Inhale, raise up, exhale and back to the normal position.
Now repeat it on the other side. Back to normal position take a few normal breaths and relax.
Benefits 
Strengthens the hands and upper body. 
Stretches the muscles in upper body, hands, shoulders and neck.
Opens the chest.
Strengthens the ribs.
Regulates blood circulation.
