Ardhasalabhasana

Lie down flat on the stomach, soles of the feet facing upwards. Place hands stretched on side of the body. Rest chin on the ground. Inhale and raise one leg slowly and steadily. Keep the other leg and
trunk immobile. Care should taken not to bend the leg at knee joint. Hold for a while. Exhale and
slowly lower the raised leg to the original position. Do the same with the other leg. Repeat this
exercise 5 to 7 times on both legs.
Benefits
Best exercise for the pelvis. Any pain in the lumbar region, either due to wrong posture or pressure
can be rectified to a great extent.
