Stand straight and keep feet together. Breathe in and breathe out. Do three complete breaths.
Rest for a minute. While inhaling lift your arms above the head to the full stretch and join palms
together. Then exhale.The arms should be close to the ears. In this position inhale and exhale for
4 complete breaths. Rest for a minute.
Repeat the 2 step breathing exercises, three times.
Stretch both arms to the front at 90 degree and join the palms and fingers in front of your chest.
While exhaling wave the hands back , while exhaling wave the hands to the front at the same height,
both palms touching as in the above picture. Do this exercise 5 times.
These exercises improve functioning of the lungs.
Hands are strengthened.
