Laughter yoga breathing exercises

Good morning friends🙏
Welcome back to laughter yoga.
Laughter yoga is a unique concept where people can laugh without a joke or humour. Although laughter yoga starts with a voluntary laugh it sooner turns into a real one. Why? Because laughter is contagious.
Laughter yoga is the science of breathing. Breathing is the key element in laughter yoga. Breathing strengthen the lungs, increases oxygen intake and allows the life energy (prana) flows good.
Breathing exercises
Breathe through the nose and breathe out through the mouth.
Stand up straight and feet a little apart. Inhale slowly and deeply. Exhale slowly and steadily. Inhale with a smile and exhale with a laughter. Eye contact is important in laughter yoga. If in a group stay in a circle and while exhaling look into the eyes of your next person or if doing alone in your room look at your eyes in the mirror.
1. Receiving cosmic energy and showering back
Draw energy towards the heart by inhaling, hold it and shower it by laughing and extending the hands out.
Brings positivity and connectedness.
2. Breathing with hands in the back
Raise the hands up and bring the back of the palms touching together in front of your forehead.
Bring the pose to the back of your neck. Inhale and exhale with laughter.
Strengthens the upper part of the lungs.
3. Mountain pose breathing
Bring the palms in namaste pose in front of your chest. Inhale raise your hands straight up your head. Exhale with a laughter back to the original pose.
Strengthens the middle part of the lungs.
4. Lion Pose breathing
Raise your arms, bring the palms to shoulder level with palms facing forward. Spread the fingers like claws of the lion. Inhale and exhale with laughter and tongue pushing out.
Strengthens the lower part of the lungs.
Feel free to choose any of the breathing techniques or more according to the time available. Repeat each breathing at least thrice.
Improves blood circulation, brain functioning and enhances immunity.
Thank you 🙏
