Laughter yoga breathing exercises

Namaste 🙏
Welcome back to Laughter Yoga
@ Amritha, Aluva.
Laughter yoga (Hasya yoga) is a modern exercise that involves prolonged voluntary laughter.
The breathing exercises in laughter yoga is diaphragmatic. It helps in flushing out the stale air from the lungs and increasing the intake of oxygen. It is a full inhale and a full exhale workout.
Smile and breathe in, laugh and breathe out.
Breathing exercises in standing posture
1. Gathering energy breathing
Stretch out both hands in front of you. Inhale & gather the energy towards you with both the hands. Hold it and send back the with laughter and your hands stretching out.
2. Weight lifting breathing
Bend down with your hands falling down. Inhale and pretend lifting the weight from the ground, inhale, inhale, hold and exhale lifting it up above with a laughter.
3. Imaginary balloon breathing
Breathe in with your hands below the knees and feeling that you are filled with air blown like a balloon, hold it, while breathing out sway in both sides like the air is going away.
4. Palm swing breathing
Breathe in, smile and stretch the hands up above your head, interlace the palms, twist it up, hold the breath, laugh , breathe out and bend to right. Continuously do it to the left.
Do the exercises three or five times. Choose your favourite breathing exercise.
It is an excellent cardio vascular workout.
Strengthens the lungs.
Improves blood circulation.

Thank you 🙏
