Mudra Healing, Prana mudra and Hakini mudra

Yoga mudras are life changing.
It brings energy and vitality in our life. Let’s practice yoga mudras to experience and enjoy health and harmony.
Prana Mudra ( Life energy Mudra)
Associates with Ajna and Root chakras. Symbolises energy officials life. Turns dormant energy into free flowing energy. Increases the flow of prana to the point it is most wanted.
Benefits
Makes body and mind stable.
Boosts immunity.
Improves eyesight.
Eliminates vitamin deficiencies.
Removes impurities in blood.
Relieves cramps and pain in the muscles.
How to do
Sit tall, comfortable and relaxed.
Place hands on your thighs.
Join the tips of the thumbs, little and ring fingers. Other two fingers straighten out. Focus on the mudra and visualise the flow of the prana. Experience the vibration of the flow.
Do for 20-30 minutes.
Avoid this mudra if you are suffering from cold and cough.
Hakini mudra ( Brain Power mudra)
Associates with Ajna chakra. It installs power in the mind. Balances mind and prana. Oxygenates the brain and improves it’s function. Good gesture for students.
It helps children suffering from autism and elders suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Benefits
Coordinates left and right brain.
Improves and deepens the breathing.
Improves concentration.
Enhances the memory power.
Enables to recollect the subjects we learned.
Creates sense of calmness and opens towards clarity.
How to do
Sit tall and relaxed. Plams on the thighs. Bring both the hands together in front of your chest. Join the tips of the corresponding fingers and widen your palms to form Hakini mudra. While practicing the mudra concentrate on breathing. Inhale, bring your tongue to touch the roof of your mouth, exhale release your tongue.
Practice for 10 minutes in a stretch.
