Back Mudra (Gesture for Back Pain)
It heals the lumbar region of spine and so it is called as back mudra. Somehow in our daily routine we have some bad postures that produces stress and tension to our spine causing back pain. Practice this mudra to relieve from back pain. If you are on medication please continue and carry on the mudra practice along.

Cures lower back pain.
Reduces muscle tension.
Prevents muscle cramps.
Reduces negative emotions.
Balances the life energies in the body.
How to do
Sit tall, spine straight, comfortable and relaxed. Palms placed on your thighs facing up.
The finger arrangement in both the hands are different in this mudra.
Right hand
Join the tips of the thumb, middle finger and little finger gently and the ring and index fingers straight.
Left hand
Cover the nail of the index finger with the first phalanx of the thumb.
Take some deep breaths.
Hold the mudra for 20 minutes, focus on the mudra, on the point of pain in the back and visualise the energy activating upon the point, sending the healing energy up to the spine and relieving the pain.
For better results perform the mudra for 45 minutes.
Early morning is the best time. Since this mudra is a healing practice any time is good. Go for regular practice and enjoy the relief in back pain.
