Mudra Healing, Abhaya mudra and Padma mudra

Welcome back 🙏
Mudra Healing session.
Mudras are ancient Yoga art.
Mudra plays an important role in Yoga.
Abhaya Mudra (Mudra of Fearlessness)
It creates a sense of awareness and security. Every person has their own fears and phobias. Everyone wants to overcome that. Abhaya mudra symbolises the detachment of fear and evil from our lives. Practicing Abhaya mudra for a quite long time helps to get over jealousy and to achieve new accomplishments in life.
Benefits
Removes fear.
Brings courage.
Relieves stress and anxiety.
Calms the mind.
Feels confident, powerful and self esteem.
How to do
Sit tall, comfortable and relaxed.
Hands on your thighs.
Take a few normal breaths.
Raise your right hand to shoulder level , palm facing forward and fingers pointing up. It should be practicing simultaneously in both hands. Focus on the mudra, say in your mind ‘stop’. It is about the fear or any phobia or any external attack.
When you are pretty strong and confident, Abhaya mudra can be practiced to send blessings to anyone who needs special care.
Padma Mudra (Lotus mudra)
It is the mudra of purity.
It is related to heart chakra. Develops feelings of love, kindness, compassion and affection towards others. It is designed to open the heart chakra.
Benefits
Opens the heart to joy.
Relaxes the mind.
Stabilises the body.
How to do
Sit tall and relaxed.
Hands facing up on your thighs.
Bring the palms together in front of your heart. Slowly take apart the palms with the base of the palms together. Joining the little fingers and thumbs together release the other three fingers to open up like a blossoming lotus. Focus on the mudra, on the mind and create a sense of calmness.
Regular practice helps in achieving results.
